"There was something for everyone – great visuals, music, singing and terrific story selections. Everyone came out happy. Many adults made a point of going to the reference desk afterwards to tell staff how much they enjoyed the program. Thank you Phynix."

“Storytime with Phynix and Anansi” was one of the best performances for children we’ve had.  Phynix (Glenn Copeland) entertained a large and varied group of adults and children of all ages with stories, songs and puppets, including Anansi the Spider puppet.  What impressed me was his comfy, sit-down approach to storytelling, which put the entire audience at ease."

"After storytime, the lights came up, and Phynix brought out all of his puppets and musical instruments for the children to play with, creating an impromptu puppet show and jam session!  We had a most excellent time."

"This was a performance that held the audience spellbound for one hour. Five year olds and up (parents included) were entranced as Phynix conducted his multimedia performance of library stories, beautiful music, sound effects, puppets and fun. He has a very professional style of combining his singing and reading voice with his own music which added so much to each story. His style was so intriguing, that the children were very involved even though the hour was kept low-key. I loved the fact that Phynix's storytelling could entertain the children for a whole hour.
I can hardly wait to see what he'll do next."
